hey mate just ignore him! his criticism is "proper " - i think he's just jealous coz he would also want to release stuff like you do!

just put him on your ignore list, as he thinks hurting people is okay. i know p.h.a.t.t is on the board too...and i know he's quite young! he doesn't produce excactly the sound i like, but i think he has a great future upon him!

as he doesn't even have a little bit respect for the artist just don't waste your time on reading his posts!

firstly they are not poxy, did you listen to them, like you read the press release and completely did not read the fact that PHATT = Pierre Pienaar and NOT Brisky? :)

because the tunes are now out of press Monster re-licensed them and included some new mixes for those that would like them, it gives those a chance to get the original material as well as some new remixes to boot... okay you think its wrong, I dont and that is not the direction Monster Tunes or any of its sub-labels will be going, I can guarantee that.

There are so many tunes lined up for release over the coming months, just cause some of the first batch feature remixes of old tracks from 98-02 doesnt mean that is the direction all of the labels will be going in!!

a) yes i did listen to them, theyre all over chemicals "forthcoming" section. i dont comment on something i havnt heard, only morons do.

b) what does it matter if i thought phatt was brisky, it doesnt make a of a difference to the quality of the tracks. it was only a sweeping guess seeing as phatt seemed to be doing all of the tracks.

c) re-hashing old tracks is a bit crap, but can be pulled off well. however making a generic "cookie cutter" trance remix of them all is a bit wank really. and its not that i dont like uplifitng trance anymore, there is still the odd tune which doesnt sound like every other bastard tune out. these releases however, arn't one of them.

im not overly keen on the PHATT stuff.

love the nickson mix of 2v2 but have played that one a lot....the emery vs brisky mix of dreamland sounds ok, but i never really liked the original first time around.....

Phatt remix of Crystal Dreams is great!

Simcut,

Do you have any info on a track by Activa that is going to be released on Monster? He posted a clip of the track in the Amateur Productions forum. I PM'ed him and he said that Monster had picked it up so I was wondering if you had any info as to when we might see a release?

I believe it was titled Activa Pres Excession - Release Me.

Hiya, will find out for you....

Hi guys,

First things first : I didn't just decide to do remixes of Krystal Dreams and Believe and then release it. Monster Tunes approached me to remix it.

I do realise that I can't please everyone, and it's even harder if you're remixing a track that's a classic, because a lot of people always have it in their mind that it'll ruin the original...If you don't like them, don't buy them. Personally I think it gives the tune a new life, as many DJ's are afraid to play tracks older than a year.

Anyway, thanks for all the feedback (good and bad) ;)

Pierre Pienaar (aka P.H.A.T.T.)
