the Canadian All-Stars... (pg. 2)

I think the US is the most overhyped country for dance music.

A lot of the good artists come from there but make their names in Europe and Canada. Even most people in Miami have no idea that the music conference is held yearly in their city. Its the brits that make that week what it is.

People think places like Detroit and Miami are meccas for clubbing. WRONG!!!!

hybrid too no? I think second sun are canadian too for any pvd fan out there.

Im sure it has something to do with the fact that everyone around the world just assumes they are american. It happens all the time with actors commedians and musicians. Everyone just assumes jim carrey, mike myers, john candy, martin short, norm mcdonald, celine dion, shania twain.. etc etc etc are american if you ask foreigners.

Originally from Scotland, Mark Oliver is presently based in Toronto and his influence on the Canadian electronic music industry is a profound one.Coming from a strong musical background, Mark exploded onto the Toronto club scene in 1987 and has since played more residencies than any other DJ in Canada. Clearly a class apart from his contemporaries, Mark helped pioneer the “rave” movement in Canada by being the first DJ to play acid house and techno nights, as well as founding North America’s first rave organization, Exodus.

So i guess I was wrong. Although as I know Mark is proud of his upbringing, he's a very patriotic Canadian and has spent most of his life here.

If he has a passport he's Canadian. IMO Actually he must have Citizenship as he's working here. lol Has for years. End of story. Who cares about the accent, the man is Canadian! We adopt him!
