I hate all that extra .
Its just an excuse to charge 25 dollars for a movie that should cost 10 or less. Some company should start buying movie rights and simply pressing the movie with a chapter menu for a lesser price. I dont care what happened behind the scenes, or funny bloopers, or alternate endings (which are usually short and subpar)...I just want to see the movie. |

| I usually buy DVDs, Just cause of thee bonus features, But of course for the movie itself, I just think, In the past, there been many DVD releases that arent as good, Due to there lack of audio comentary, behind the scene features, deleted scenes and so on, At times I love watching a movie with the audio comentary, Cause you get to hear the director or the actors talk about what they did in the scenes and so on, And the delete scenes are always great, You get to see clips that were cut from the films that were originally there, But were cut due to the pacing of the films, And I love the bloopers. :) |

| I bet they'll us over with Star Wars too. Like first they'll release just episode 3 on DVD, then the first trilogy on DVD, then finally ALL of the episodes on DVD. I'm gonna have to wait awhile :D |

Haha, and you think it ends there?
Hate to break it to all of you, but if Sony gets their way (as well as a few other companies) then pretty soon all those nifty DVD players that WE all bought are gonna be obselete because there are 2 new formats just around the corner which current DVD Players won't be able to play. So yea, 5-6 yeras down the line, DVD's are gonna be extinct. |
