Firefox 1.0 Final

I know a lot of you might be interested so..
Mozilla Firefox 1.0 Final gets released today :D. I've been told the files should be getting uploaded at around 12-1AM PST (-0800 - -0900 GMT). Give or take some time for the mirrors to propagate.
Everyone's favorite browser's final version should appear here in the next few hours:

hey, i never said firefox was not bug free, ive submitted a few bugs which they have yet to fix. but what exactly are _you_ talking about? The things you noted on the previous thread that got lost weren't bugs. It was mostly misinformation on your part :) |

Just downloaded it! Took me 5 hours to get onto the mozilla website.
Using it now and all is good, seems much faster than IE and i like the simple layout. I like the idea of tabs too, that will come in handy and will stop the taskbar from clogging up with e!

is it worth upgrading to this version if i am using the preview version?
and yeah, judging by how slow the site is (compared to 2 weeks ago when i first dl'd it) it seems its pretty popular!
i hope they knock IE out of the sky. |

Yah, the Sysadmins for the various mozilla servers are saying they're getting hammered with millions of hits right now. Try using one of the mirros:

Since your better half helped me get it running after nagging me to switch I use it more than IE now, I only need IE for about 3 sites that don't support Firefox yet, but that's their loss |
