Take a minute to think about how kewl concrete really is. Some may say that the brick is more interesting, but personally, I think I am a concrete man. I'll have a drink to 'concrete'.

Its threads like this that make me proud to be human. So many people these days take things for granted, and dont appreciate what makes everything possible. Xenocreator is not one of these people, and i would like to give him a round of applause. /applause

after living around UMass all my life, and now attending it, i'm not a big fan of concrete, considering our entire campus is built out of it

and those pictures make them look really good
imagine a campus full of concrete on a rainy day
ugly as ing hell

ahhh, concrete, the eigth wonder of the world.
Sorry to the Melbourne guys, but concrete is better than bricks, bricks, mah, they're just clay, concrete has so much other stuff, and you never see a wet brick, whereas concrete goes from wet to dry, great stuff.
Maybe this is just another interstate rivalry.
I'm with XenoPG on this. |

Take a soft mass of clay and minerals, mould it into that familiar boxy shape, and harden it by drying and firing at temperatures up to 1200°C. You now have a brick, one of our simplest yet most durable materials. |
originally, bricks were made from mud actually
last time i checked, mud was wet
mud wrestling wouldn't be very fun if it was dry |
