As well, u have some good tips or tricks?

| download some free kick samples off the internet and screw around with them. or you can use synths like vanguard to make them. im not sure how since all my kicks are made by layering free kick samples together. doru malaia has lots of good kick drum samples for free. google it. |

Well you need a sampler, but there are plenty of them out there. Halion is a solid choice if you are a Cubase user. It work well once you understand how to use it. Having the instruction manual that comes with it will help, but there are plenty of free samplers out there I'm sure. Just have a look on www.kvr-vst.com
As for making your own kicks with a synth, for software, you can have a look at Waldorf Attack but I don't think you will get the results you're after. For hardware, there is stuff like the elektron machinedrum and the JoMoX Airbase 99 but that kind of equipment is quite expensive. |

| a sine wave, a pitch envelope and an amp envelope and compression/eq is all it takes for a bassdrum. |
