I heard about some contriversy surrounding Half-Life 2, That you are required to be online, In order to play the single player, That I think its the dumbest thing, Not everybody who would by the game, Have internet access, And to force a person to be on the net, Just to activate the single player is just wrong, I know they are trying to do something about piracy, But that isnt the answer. |
Really that is the only thing they can do... besides if you don't have an internet connection what would you be doing buying HL2 anyway? |

| Got the game a couple of days ago and am totally loving it. The graphics are excellent and it runs ok my computer. Although it took an eternity to install and it takes a while to actually load, I can't really complain, I am greatly enjoying the game. :D |

You have to get online once to activate it, after that you don't have to be online to play single player. |

Yeah, it didn't climax well...err...well, you know what I mean. :p
I was just in a dream state towards the end of that game - riding in that metal coffin-shaped thing around the huge factory in the citadel before you're finally lifted up to the highest office....
two words come to mind:
HOLY.... .....
Absolutely GORGEOUS scenery, and the art direction for that game was just...wow. Very subtle, but appreciated nevertheless.
I thought it was a little easy as well - especially once you get the Gravity Gun modified. ;) |

Actually it turns out that stuttering and skipping is a major issue with HL2 right now. Almost everyone with all different kinds of computers are having issues with it. For me, my main issue is with CS:Source; it keeps crashing on me when it skips. It's something with the source engine... |

The last level was definately easy, but I think that it makes up for it by being incredibly fun. The (you know what I'm talking about) is just a pleasure to use on combine soldiers :D
There was plenty of difficulty in the levels leading up to the last. |
