his LOL III set was one of the best sets i have ever heard, i danced so hard that after he was done i was so tired i spent the rest of the night just chillin to deep dish, but somehow he managed to top it last night, crazy bastard :)

I must say that the vibe on friday was of teh hook!! It's been a long time since I saw so much love in one room and that many people having such a great time, and I know I definitely had an amazing time too!

hahaha i remember asking around "anoyone has some rollies" and this girls was like "would u like blunt" i was like "yep" and then she asked me "what kind, i have blueberry, vanilla ....." and so on and i think we had choko one. :D :D

I was quite sauced when I showed up around 1am, so apologies for being distracted or just plain stupid to those I ran into briefly.
It's going to take a lot for me to return to System again. Barbara is my #1 but between the bang bang bang techno (which I've never heard her play for 3 hrs straight, with the exception of her second Aria gig in 2002 maybe) and the sound system, I didn't have nearly as good of a time as I had hoped. But maybe I have been spoiled with her 6+ hour sets at ARIA for the last few years, and maybe my ears have been spoiled partying at boa.
I was also really uncomfortable on the dancefloor - the guys were just ing creepy. My bf left at one point for the washroom or bar or something, and as SOON as he left some guy was all up on me. I couldn't enjoy myself unless I was behind the booth where it was a bit brighter and the sound wasn't so piercing.
Wish I could have caught more of Mute, but Barbara appeared and went on shortly after we arrived. sorry :( |

Oh, I had a good time still....but it was kind of ridiculous to think my expectations could have been exceeded at this event. I've been spoiled between her extended Montreal sets and boa.

Okay here we go...
When I walked into the front room... I was very happy to see that another great vibe had been building... When the main room opened I could definately feel a great goove happening... When that second guy hit the decks... (I wont even try to find out who it was)... I decided to go sit for a set... I tired dancing but his music selection made me want to take a nap...
Fianlly Mistress B hit the decks.... and i was blown away... I had never seen her live... I have a couple studio sets of hers but i didnt think she was going to be THAT good... I was wrong... I stopped for a moment to stick my foot 9/10ths of the way in my mouth before i continued to dance...
It was awesome to see all the TOTAs again: Frank, Jenna, Mike, John, Emz, Aaron, Dallas, Neeta (although i think she avoided me and michelle all night ;) ), Rob, Sarah (didnt really talk but hey saw ya), and Sam and Laur (we should party more often).
All in All a pretty good night
