i hate emo ... everything from teenybopper punk/emo bands like those little pricks yellowcard or simple plan to dashboard confessional.
i mean half of the is all the same. its like.. "i was made fun of in high school one time, and a girl broke up with me."

emo is a version of an independent band wannabe..
bands like white stipes, franz ferdinand, etc .. are a much greater extent of better musicians ... |

I believe our roots go further than 30 years... :wtf:
emo kinda blows.....indy isnt much better, but, it isn't emo so it has that going for it. |

you gotta remember this though, death cab for cutie is along the same lines as modest mouse. They have been around for a long time, upwards of 10 years producing great music. Though just now they are getting mainstream attention. They are not a part of this "explosion" in terms of jumping on it's coat tails, Death Cab for Cutie was one of the forefathers of the movement.
Personally, Emo is the worst music out there. |
