One particular ex of mine I am friends with.
We broke up about a year ago, and was a pretty clean break as we didn't speak for about 4 months. She met a new boy this year and things were looking good for her, and I was really happy for her, and he was heading to Europe for work purposes for a while. So she visited him and fell pregnant.
Being the ncie guy he was the having a baby issue turned him from sensitive nice guy to panicked playboy that doesn't want to come within 10,000kms of the baby, or the mother. So she is stuck with a big tummy and no friends as most of them are party animals, and she is now a home body.
So I've been a pretty good friend and gone along to doctors appointments with her and chat on the phone when she is struggling with things. I can't imagine how tough it must be to bring up a baby on your own. Its the combination of losing much of your independence, the committment of having some to be responsible for 24 hours a day and the notion of dating being a much more challenging experience.
It can be a problem with girlfriends when you are friends with your ex, as I usually put on the yellow flashing lights when dating someone that is close with their ex, but I'm honest with all contact as I think this is the best way.
Most ex's however seem to get really keen when you get a girlfriend or things are going really well. Ex sex can be really hot and almost revengeful on occasion, and when you've picked up new tricks in the meantime it gives a good opportunity to head a little. Usually I have little interest in bring back up the past, as you have been there and done that so you shoule move on.
You really don't want to catch exgirlfrienditis, which is a condition where your future relationships and state of mind is permanently effected by being trapped in the negative rollercoaster which is falling in and out of love with someone whilst being put through a heart grating machine as you continue to go back for more pain and mental punishment as you try to understand why great love does not always equal a great relationship. |

i moved to toronto, so later on into our relationship it became long distance, so her nasty ass (eventhough shes ing hot) couldnt keep her legs shut.....
