I'm one of the organizers of the event. Thanks Cyrus for posting this. Tickets can only be bought from 332 Student Centre at York University. we're selling until this friday from 12 to 2pm. You can also buy your ticket from me. I'll be carrying a bunch with me, but you'll have to meet me at York. There are about 1000 tickets and they're selling fast, we sold 400 tickets already. That means you'll probably not be able to buy them at the door. Also, come early on Sunday because when one lecture hall gets full, you'll have to go into another lecture hall and watch the lecture by live video feed.

Oh boy.. Here is the reason why I don't like those types of events: They typically gather those people who are already anti-Israeli, and inviting someone like Noam Chomsky only instills this anger towards Israel in them.
I'd be much more interested if somebody organized a debate with a famous anti-Israeli person, and a famous pro-Israeli person. That would've been much more educational for both anti and pro israelis. |

I doubt it. Noam Chomsky would shred to pieces anyone from this forum. |

We could send our 50 best and still come up with nothing. Even if the topic was 'Is the sky blue?' and his side was 'no' |
