If you got the plate then why didnt you or the manager call the cops? Why cant you call them now?
Surely there must be a legal way to make these chicks pay for what they stole.
Having said that. I agree with the person above as to how integrated into the pay structure tipping has become in North America. Tipping used to be reserved for outstanding service. Now its expected ALWAYS. |

Servers are paid 6$ an hour !!! Everyone should tip, unless you have a terrible waitress, that is an exception. And 15% at least. I was a server all summer, there is nothing worse then ty tippers, especially when you know they were very happy with the service !!!
Omg crazedcanuck, that sucks !! Nobody has jetted on me yet without paying the bill, but I would freak out if they did. |

Thats my point. They shouldnt be paid less because tips are now expected. They should get paid the same as others would and only expect tips for outstanding service. This is why i say that the way that it has been built into the pay system now is stupid. |

Truth, its a positive feedback loop, sort of like labor for women.
People started getting tips, owners lowered wages, now servers started crying, more people started tipping, owners lowered wages again, more crying, etc |
