this may seem gross to some people, but i've even gone as far as to rip out a strand of my own hair and flossed with it, because i had no floss on me, and had something stuck in my front tooth. |
i always have floss in my car so hopefully i wont be faced with that situation.
and david, FLOSS! and go to a dentist. blood in your mouth cant be good. |

| A long shot but perhaps there is something wrong in your blood. Either it's thinner or there are less platelets in it so it doesn't coagulate as easily as before. That would be worrying. |

Seriously though, maybe you've just cut your mouth somewhere on the inside with a sharp crisp or something. If not, maybe it's a sign of gum disease. Well, not the full blown thing, but bleeding gums can be a sign that you'll develop it if you don't do something about it. My dentist told me that if my gums bleed a bit while brushing, just to keep brushing. Don't brush hard or anything, but eventually they'll stop.
Your nosebleeds are probably down to something as simple as your body overheating slightly. Your brain likes to stay cool, and so if your head gets too hot, it loses heat rapidly by making your nose bleed. I used to get nosebleeds all the time as a child, and so I'm used to it.
Anyway, if you're still unsure, see the doctor. It cant be any worse than asking for advice from a load of clueless people on the internet.

bleeding mouth -- your gums. please brush your gums.. if it is pink, then no doctor. dark red, i think you need to get some shots at the dentist. sorry, if you have fear of needles.
bleeding nose -- don't know. many possibilities. the weather. do you pick your nose often? do you pick your nose deep way inside? that may break a nerve in your nose, causing a nose bleed. or do you clip you nosehairs often? the scissors may have cut a nerve. the nerves inside your nostrils are very sensitive, if you want to know. |
