| right so lets not around and just be real a moment. a couple posts on another thread got me to thinkin, most of us use drugs recreationally. drugs are real and theyre everywhere especially in our little world. be it alcohol, g, e, k, or any other vowel in the alphabet most of us have come across it and used it. i don't want to know about how you met god the first time you took a pill. i want to know if theyv'e made your life better or worse. have you ever been to the emergency room for them or what? are you an addict? does it REALLY make your experience that much better? do you care? seriously whats your opinion? |

| Normally when I walk into a club straight.. it's like I'm in a dark room and there's loud music coming from one end of it. When I walk into a club high, it's like I'm in a dark room surrounded by music; I feel much more at home and I have more energy to dance. That's pretty much why I take them (and it's hardly ever more than 1/night). Hasn't had any lifechanging effect or anything... only downside is that I'm normally grumpy & quiet the next day. That's all to tell really... |

I think my first pill experince really changed my life in a way. It introduced me to the whole rave scene and I was blown away by the whole intimate out-of-body experience a rave is. With this I developed a respect I never had before to artist producing/compiling/spinning trippy xtc friendly tunes just for ppl rolling. Its like discovering a new sense, only comparable to a deaf person hearing sound, or a blind person seeing light for the firs time. Has it changed the way I live life? Now i'm obsessed with the EDM scene. Would I go back to my sober clubbing days? never.
As long as u do it in moderation, drugs dont up your life. |

They could, even the first time. Very unlikely though, but hell, even hash can put you inte a psychosis. |

they have definitely been a benifit to my life. E in particular, i think opens your eyes and gives you a different take on the world, as well as making you more outgoing in your life. i think you get less shy once you have taken it. you do need to know what you are doing though, make sure you KNOW YOUR DEALER.
i am not an addict, but i will say there was a time in my life when i did too many drugs, too often, and it had adverse affects on my health and lifestyle. too much of anything is bad for you though.. if you start doing pills every week then i think you need to take a week off every now and again. its more a once or twice a month thing for me now (although my recent track record wouldn't suggest it).
yes, i think it makes a clubbing experience better (this music was, afterall, created with drugs in mind, sometimes literally), but if you can't enjoy clubbing without them then you need to ask yourself why you are doing it. |

I can say for sure that taking drugs has changed my life for the better. I've done just about every drug there is to do and I think you gain from each experience.
However, I've also watched several of my friends destroy their lives with drugs.
Taking drugs is a very serious decision and you need to take stock of yourself before you decide to take them. If you are someone who lives to party 24/7 or who uses legal drugs like alcohol to excess, you need to be careful. It is very easy to get caught up in the 'endless party' type of lifestyle.
You have to understand that there is a time to get high and have fun, and a time to be sober and live your life, and that the times to be sober far outnumber the times to be high.
And if you are using drugs to fill some void in your life or to make you happy, you should be real damn careful with that. Because its a false happiness you get, and the crash is a real bitch. |

I overdid the whole drug thing and now I'm regretting it with a case of mild psychosis and anxiety attacks. I'm getting couselling and medication so I'm getting better. You could say drugs have changed my view on life dramatically, both for good and bad.
Moderation is the key and the less mixing the better. |

And yeah.. drugs dont up your life. You do. Its all in the mind really. I've been taking special Ks and E almost everytime i go clubbing and it hasnt affected my lifestyle. Hell, I've become more religious in a way.. |

Hash made me faint one time, but usualy I have no trouble handling it.
I smoke weed like every day and I think it has made me see things differently. I think I'm a better person for the conclusions I've reached and the answers I've found when I was high. I've only rolled a few times, I think the feeling that rolling gives you is something that you shouldnt experience too often. That kind of happiness just isnt meant to be so persistant and I could see how it would up a person's head if one took too many pills.
I for one wish I would have started taking drugs earlier. I used to be really afraid of them cuz of the that people here do to program their kids. I kinda feel like people were lying to me throughout my whole life while I was being raised, just so that I would think the way they want me to instead of allowing me to decide who I want to be.
I think I would have some bad issues to work out if I didn't ever find drugs, cuz the state I was in back in the day was ed up. |

exactly my thoughts. once u can;t have fun without em,you might wanna stop for a while. Drugs should be enhancers , not the main event |
