loved every minute of ferrys set. Ended up leaving after "its time" which was about 4:45ish cos i had to get my friend home.
Hello to misstrance who i met too |

Ahhhh man... You poor boy - if you had to leave at 4:45am you missed the best part of his set! He played till around 5:50am - kept Nik Fish / Amber Savage waiting... Heheh :D
In that last hour he played...
Gouryella - Ligaya
System F - Out Of The Blue
Veracocha - Veracocha
And I'm sure I'm missing a couple of extra "classic" tracks he played too...
(Mind still lost in some alternate reality...) :eyespop:
But still, other than that he was awesome as well... Tho I personally got "lost" a little when after "Rock Your Body Rock" he started to delve into all that tech / prog type stuff... He saw the crowd went for that sound, so off he went...
Personally I love him for his melodic / vocal work + nothing else...
In the end - he made a good recovery + hammered the old school favourites after that, so it all worked out :)
But where was Clear Blue Water?! Or Love Shines Through? Or even things like Liberation (Fly Like An Angel) + all the Moonman stuff from '99... :whip:
Or was I just dreaming that he'd come close to playing ALL / any of those?!
I just wish those days could be revisited... Or at least a complete old school set from Ferry would have been nice...
But things move on I guess? And with him only being here for the first time in TWO years - he wouldn't have the freedom to just decide on an old school set and go through with it...
But, for anyone that knows it - Ferry's Innercity '99 set was just simply CLASS! Just classic after classic after classic! :D
I guess cos I've never seen him before I was expecting him to cover everything I wanted him to all at once...
Still was an awesome night! :eyespop: :D |

wow
In all my years of clubbing I have never witnessed a dj send a crowd soooooooooo crazy like Ferry did last night. Yes he played 1001 anthems, but who cares? because he produced them all, which added the perfect touch to the entire night. will write more later! |

Ferry!! Ferry!! Ferry!!
Top set, the recording should come out Super!
Great crowd atmosphere which ferry knew how to work perfectly and more...
Even though my legs are about to fall off, it was hell well worth it! |

Glad to see you guys had a good time.
I get to see him (again) on NY Day here in Chicago.
I have seen him 4 times in 2004 and he has never disappointed me (even in his cut short set in Seattle). He always has a good time and the crowd always is into it.
Too bad I could not afford to take my second vacation to oz this year as I had planned, or I would have been there too.
Cheers.
