He didnt start it. He just raised it to levels no one had thought about taking it. In capitalist America, we give thanks by giving people money and awards for their work. Dre got plenty of both during his most active years as an artist.
Unlike some sports stars (See: Mark Messier, Michael Jordan), he knows when his time is up and he should bow out. |

I like some Dre stuff, some NWA, some Snoop Dogg too (a lot of the songs him and Dre did together are pretty good :)

yep, jay-z (& snoop dogg) wrote "still d.r.e.", and if it's shocking to you then it shouldn't, dre always has feel more secure as the producer than as a rapper. when he took snoop (doggy) dogg under his wing in the early 90's he not just found a protoge, he also found someone to write his lyrics for him |
