"Fallitas" would sound like "Falhinhas", which means "little fails" in Portuguese :D What can I say though, "taco" means "baseball bat" and "pita" is a slang for "hemp" :p

I tuned into this Israeli Trance show on ETS, and up to now it was mint, but now they're playing Satellite. (Which in actuality I also really like. It's a remix I've never heard).

On topic: My university does a co-op (read: intern) program for 6 months, then 6 months of school, etc. Right now I'm working, so I'm self sufficient. When school starts again I may well require infusions of cash to pay the rent.

Spoiled? You decide.

yeah same here... you can tell the people whose parents bought them their clothes and cars and stuff like that here at school.

Of couse I'm spoiled. I have food, clothes, transportation, and a place to live and I don't have to work 12+ hours of manual labor every day so I can have these things. Second, I live in America, nuff said.

I feel spoiled, but I'm not really sure if I am. I know that my family provides a lot for me, despite my moderate laziness coupled with the fact that I'm a full-time College student.

I live with my Grandmother in a very good-sized piece of land in Florida with a very nice house. Everything is provided for me by the grace and generosity of this woman: Food, drink, bed, roof, cable TV, wireless internet for the computer my parents gave me for Graduation, etc... we've even got a very decently-sized swimming pool with a hot tub. :happy2:

I drive a 1987 Maxima - insurance is taken care of for me, and I'm not having to make payments on the car, as I don't have a job right now. It's not like I haven't been looking, in fact, I even quit a job not too long ago because I just really didn't want to do it. I've gotten no pressure from my family, really - they'll take care of me for the time being. My college funds have been saved for me ever since I was born, so I have enough money to pay for pretty much the entire 4 years of College if I want to.

I don't get allowance or anything like that, just the occasional spending money from my other grandparents in California. I just put anything I get into the bank and use it for gas money so I can get to school and back. As of now, I have about $35 in the bank to pay for gas, and no source of income, really. So I'm going to either have to beg for money or go out and get a goddamn job (I know I should, I just enjoy my moderate hedonism :happy2: ). To a certain degree, I am my Grandmother's groundskeeper, but nowhere near the amount of work equal to what she has provided for me in terms of upkeep and free room & board. :p

I love my family and all that they have done for me over the years - they have ALWAYS been there, supportive of pretty much whatever endeavors (if any) I have decided to take upon myself. I can only go into the world knowing that they are there for me as they have been in the past, and I feel a duty (for once) to do the same for my children, if I should be so blessed one day.
