Music moods and hip hop

Ok, I know hip hop is reviled by many...
but ive been in the mood today, despite having the same mood ive kept of late.
just heard Handsome Boy Modeling School - White People, which is class, and am now listening to Fugees - The Score...
the score is a ing classic, and anyone who knows production and music should love it. and HBMS is hilarious and equally quality, if not more erratic| |

I have some Murs on - Definitive Jux baby! :] Check out the album "The End Of The Beginning" from him, its awsome . He can rhyme and flow better then every MTV MC combined.

Ain't into the Hip Hop personally. ONe of my sons is into Gangsta Rap and thumps his 1400W ride on the grid square (no f*cking on the power). Me personally, I go with something like the below...and I ain't lacking power with 510W in the cab of a Ranger pickup....

true, but as TAs i think we all realize that the best music isnt the most obvious.
there is some seriously killer hip hop that has never been, nor likely will be on pop radio. and it all boils down to the same thing as trance and EDM...excellent production and creativity| |

I'll speak for the majority. We are Trance and not Hip Hop. Find another forum if you want some sympathy.

Well thanks guy. If you want us to praise Hip Hop, then it ain't gonna happen here. Go find a Hip Hop forum. Not that I'm averse to it or nothing because one of my kids beats me down with it about every day. NOt the Heavy Metal one.
What does it take to turn our youth to trance anyhow?

Word man. That's funny cause I busted out The Score the other day myself...love the remixes of 'Fugee-la' at the end. As for Handsome Boy Modelling School - Prince Paul is one of my favorite producers in hip hop. |
