Is trance still trance? (pg. 2)

Trance to me is emotion music that takes me on a trip. 'Trance' sounds different today, but it still does the same thing for me. It takes me to my happy place, and gets me excited, and brings people together.

BUT, I find a lot of today;s releases are more musical, and less relying on percusion builds and simple synths....It's definitely changed, and the substance, or purpose behind it remains the same for me..

My 2 cents...

Trance is still trance. It's just going through a phase...evolving and getting better

U'll see....it's gonna come back stronger than ever, and it's gonna blow our minds away.

But first....we gotta do something to get the people deprogrammed from mainstream, hip pop and crap muzik...........that stuff's just not right

The classic trance sound - thanks to DJ Ampz and Amplified Radio and his episode 216 show.

TUNE INTO THIS CLASSIC STUFF! WOW!

can the stuff be relayed on 8080 instead of 8624 or does the software make u use that port only...u do know that if it becomes a firewall friendly port....u will also be able to capture the work audience thus extending the reach of 2hp.ca radio...lol

I think I was saying less that trance is dead, more that prog is in a beautiful place at the moment. (I kept making reference to "the big sound" at the moment) I think Prog has finally turned into a sound that could destroy the mainstream. A perfect formula of grimmy yet much more danceable and upbeat.

techno + electro = le sound dujour

You must be thinking of house music, because prog sucks just as much now as it did years ago. :toothless

Just put the radio tuner output into the sound card input and viola...
