The arc memories thread inspired me to think of this (cuz i never went to arc :(). 2004 is almost over... what were your most memorable parties this year? i've been to so damn many this year, its hard to remember them all, but a few stand out.

1) Tiesto in Concert, Arnhem... by far the best of this year! I've never been to a party with so many people, all there to see one dj, dancing their hearts out for 9 hours. And to me, the last hour was so emotional and memorable, when he banged out all those classics. I took away soooo many memories from that night, and from that whole trip. I hope he does another one next year!

2) Ultra Spin 5, Toronto... first time at Guvernment/Koolhaus, first time seeing marco, MIKE, and astral project.... was totally blown away by the music, the friendliness of the toronto peeps, and bonding with my best friends in another country.

3) Armin @ Crobar.... besides a truly awesome set, it was another amazing night spent with awesome friends. there are so many memories i have of that weekend, its not even possible to put it into words. And when he played Burned with Desire as part of his encore, it took me over the edge. i will never forget that night.

4) 4th of july, miami... spent the second 4th of july in a row with some of my best friends in miami for the 4th of july blast at peapark, hosted by 93.1, and then markus schulz at Envy for the afterparty, where Jess from Motorcycle sang As The Rush Comes live. that whole trip was the beginning of an incredible summer.

2005 has a lot to live up to!!

#1. Paul van Dyk @ Summerstage (in the rain!) - Without a shadow of a doubt! I dont think Ive ever had this much fun in my life.

#2. Labour of Love @ Guvernment - Although I was only able to stay there for @ 5 hours (because I reaggrivated a heavily sprained ankle) I had so much ing fun dancing to Sander K without stopping - he owned my ass hard.

#3. Ultra Spin 5 @ Guvernment - Just an all around great party.

#4. Sander Kleinenberg @ Arc - I dont think there was a better way to start the year.

#5. Im leaving this one empty until the year is over.

Top 3 for me in order:

Danny Howells last gig at Arc March 27 - "That mother ing house music" :tongue3 :eyespop: :tongue3 :eyespop:

Digweed at Crobar Aug 27 - Honestly didn't think highly of Digweed until this night. One of those nights where I couldn't stop dancing at all.

Gabriel & Dresden/Junkie XL at Mezzanine in San Fran Sept 5 - G&D were ok, but what made is great was the JXL part of the night. I came in not knowing what to expect and got baptized right into the fire. (yeah, I had to shell out $56 for a hotel on top of cover just so I can go and it was worth the money)

Honorable Mention:
Sander K Nov 12 at Crobar
Ferry Oct 23 at Avalon-NYC (I thought this was the best night musically ever for me, BUT it was Avalon-NYC, so I didn't dance until 5:30 AM :whip: )
