| I'm a big fan of this acronym ever since RJ introduced it. And I'm a big supporter of the sound. And the subsequent parties associated with it. |

Mr. Bruuen, I'd have to say the bottom line is this :
There are much more effective ways to "sound cool" than to make little acronym nicknames for things.
Everybody has the ability to label/name/title things in their own unique way - it's called having character. If others agree or relate to the label/name/title then they may adopt it for themselves - if others don't agree or relate then they most likely won't. |
fair enough. i'm not saying its fake though, its just your own interpretation of what you're saying the music is, and if that helps you categorize it better, then go for it.but its not something thats actually recognized as a sub-genre of music. On the plus side to your accronym...at least yours makes sense to a specific form of music...my pet peeve is just the hundreds of sub-genres spontaniously created for no reason by random ppl, which essentially doesn't allow anyone but the creater to really know one form of music from the next. ishur's music guide is a prime example, some of those genres are so rediculous. |

The Official Electronic Music Genre Standards and Classifications Consortium (of which you are not a member of, btw) does not recognize nor acknowledge the existence of any branch-off, strain or tributary style of music from the progressive/techno pantheon known or conceivably known as anything similar to "DDTT".
So there. |
