Could you live if you went deaf?

If you lost your sense of hearing? could you live?? I dont think I could eh.....living without music would almost be impossible, post your thoughts

Yea - I think I could. Though I'm not a musically-inclined person (at least I don't think so) music is merely a medium for communication, not THE medium for communication. Mozart was deaf, but he felt the music regardless - that's all that's really, truly important, I think. Not as though I would really have any idea as to how I could read trance, but there's other ways of getting the message accross. ;)

What about this...
If you could save somebody from dying, but you had to give up your sight and hearing would you. But, they wouldnt know you gave all that up for them. What would you do?!
