I was at Boa when Margaret came up to me and said what I heard as "Eso is here, he's in the back". So I walked up to the back of the club and looked around, all around - and couldn't see Eso.

So I turned around, and there he was shootin' the breeze with someone. Tiesto was at the party - not to play - but just to have fun!

We ended up chatting for 3 or 4 minutes about his upcoming gig, the gig @ docks in 2003, his love for Toronto, Tiesto in Concert 2, the magic trick @ TiC2 (how he did it, and how i would have messed up badly if it involved me, etc).
LISTEN UP: Tiesto is an awesome doode! Completely relaxed, friendly, unrushed, genuine, welcoming, open, warm - just fantastic! A total gentleman.
Tiesto and I talked for a bit, no uneasyness or anything at all. Tiesto was super-cool and polite. Not often one gets to meet a DJ at a party where they aren't even playing - let alone Tiesto!

Oakey cant say the same. Ive met him twice and spoke to him for 2 min or so the first time. Complete dick head.
Corsten is my fav for coolness. Last march (i think) when he was at guv, i chilled right behind him for most of his set. Everytime he turned around to grab a record we chatted/joked. If you remember near the end of his set he jumped on the mic a few times to give Toronto props, was because i told him hes gotta talk to the crowd cuz Toronto loves him. There was no mic setup so i bugged the tech staff to wire him. Then, I had accidentally leaned on the laser system panel and shut the lasers off. Thanks to jay for a fast recovery ;) Then everyone mocked me. The funny part was when i offered ferry some gum he happily said yes. He threw out his old tasteless gum and then i couldnt find my gum. So we started mocking eachother. Him mocking me cuz i offer people gum without having it and me mocking him cuz he threw out his gum and now has none. I finally found it and gave him 2 pieces. He even felt bad to take 2 peices eventhough i had a full pack. Ive got tons of respect for Ferry. |

Well I met Ferry a few times and I have nothing but great things to say about him, he's by far the nicest guy in the world. Armin's okay but he loves the girls...so basically if you're a girl he'll be ultra nice to you...if you're a guy he's gonna be alright :p |
