i'm in the region so i go quite often.
ie: my campus is a 10min drive from fallsview, so we sometimes go on our breaks
or once all the bars shut down and you don't wanna go home, where else do u go thats open 24hrs? the casino.. and then you enjoy some late night buffet for 5$.(food first, gamble after.. important rule)
those are just some of the joys of living real close, the downside is the money you lose. not that i'm speaking from experience as i usually walk out with a smile on my face, but i've watched my friends go down 300$ in less than an hour. |

except the last time I went and only had $20 to blow there.. Walked out with almost $600 :D

Yes yes, that's whut im talking about! A good solid game of texas hold'em with friends, a reasonable buy in... ur only out ur 5, 10, 20$ if u dont take the pot

I've been watching a lot of poker on TV too...it seems to be on all the time...one benefit of not having hockey is all of the extra programming space that has to be filled on TSN and SportsNet :D |

im not a huge fan of gambling, unless i have more control over the situation. like making a bet with a friend over a fact or something, or like on a game of bball.
i like to have more control, rather than just "playing my cards right".
the only casino ive been to was this crappy little on i the Domincan at the restort i stayed at. just played slots. some meaningless action. i basically did it, cause i had never done it before, and when you are betting in DR pesos, it really doesnt get very expensive. |
