so i just received a call from some woman who's name begins with an 'M', i can't remember what it was, but we'll say it's for security issues. it seems i ran up an overdraft of about 400 dollars at my ex-homebranch of TD Canada Trust. The balance owing is now 517.something. I haggled with her and she let me know that if i pay a one time lump sum, she'll clear the account for 253.64 and my credit will return to normal after a few weeks. I've owed this money since Feb '03.
so, in closing, don't pay off your loans and wait the creditors out. they will drop your balance to below what you borrowed in the first place, just to get some money out of you. this is even after they tried to strongarm money out of me 6 months ago, and threatened to send bailiffs to my door and serve me with small claims court papers.

| not for nothing but u shouldn't be holding plastic if you aint responsible with it. you can refer to this post when your credit is fuked and you cant get a mortgage for your house. Then you'll be able to get a mortgage on ur house and end up paying interest for the rest of your life. Sorry but I've built my credit up pretty nicely, thats something I dont like to fuk with. |
