playing a set is more like telling a story, you can put different emotions in it
never had/have/will have the intention and inspiration for producing songs |

I like the self-expression aspect of producing.

| If you want to hit it big, you have to be both. In my opinion, starting as a producer, will benefit you in the long run. It will be a heck lot easier for you to learn DJ'ing with the such a musical background. |
