DJing or Producing?? (pg. 3)

Dj'ing for me, with literally ten's of thousands of tracks to choose from, accross various genre's. The possibilites are endless and with literally hundreds of new tunes coming out a week it'll only ever get better. Then you can either do it for personal listening or do the huge gigs and get thousands of arms waving.
Whereas producing is alot slower, you'll find after a while you'll just get stuck using the same sounds/melodies in your songs and there's no one who can churn out anthem after anthem, even the best have off tracks.
Dj'ing wins for me

Its hard enough for me to try and mix two records decently (/me= not at all a dj)...................

Thats why i think i'll start producing ...

:D maybe its easier (doubt it) :p

for me? no doubt a dj - simply for the travel and experiences
that they live

I pick producer
eatsam
Producer for me.

Imagine creating your own track that people love, and remix and enjoy for hundreds of hours.. nothing would be better.

I am both; however, I prefer DJing to producing 'cause it is more dynamic & interactive.

DJ: get the crowd going and mowing ..... euphoric!
Blahzaay
Producer.....

Putting together a catchy bassline that has never been heard b4 is pretty satisfying

i used to be a songwriter before, but djing for ppl who are loving ur set, is a completely different experience, that is amazing.

Imo being the best dj in the world technically would be an amazing thing, but without production skills, you'd have to be ridiculously good at dj'ing to make it big.

DJ! But these days, all successful DJs are more producers than DJs it seems..

crazyness, i would definitly rather be a producer. i think hearing new creations, instead of remixes of stuff is alot better. too bad more djs get credit for stuff than producers, at least that wut i think.
