d00d you need to take a break, leave TA for awhile and come back after you can mix decent and can make nice productions, then people wont 'dawg' on ya so much. |

| It's great you have so much enthusiasm and that will help you a lot, but just wait until you get your decks and get some practice in before hyping yourself so much with a name, album and radio show. Keep your level of ambition, but you're taking on too much too early in terms of promoting yourself. |

AND for the guy that keeps going on about spelling, go cry bout it! It's a frekin internet forum not an essay, no-onw really gives a if you miss pelt a word as long as you know what they're on bout.
Hey Coleman, you REALLY need to take on some advice, the good type, like wolverine's, i think you need to lay low in terms of promoting what you don't know will actually happen, establish your self as a normal person tho conversations on all the boards, just post everynow and then in COR and MD, if they start flaming, IGNORE is your word, you'll be sweet dude. Just practice, practice and one day when you feel you are good enough to DJ well, host your first show and see what others think:happy2:

DJ Coleman has been promoting himself a bit too much lately, and I can see why some TA's are getting sick of it now.
Thinking you are great when you are not is fine, but don't expect people to think the same. People on these forums have always been to-the-point and honest about everything, and some people just can't seem to accept criticism (spelling?).
Learn to take some advice first, and then start blaming people for not liking what you do.

Well i don't think i'm the best, i'm not the worst... also you guys think i'm a newbie, i'm just here to prove something. I'm not a ing newbie. I have been doing this for 6 months... so lay off my back. When i'm getting aired on internet radio shows etc... i'm going to be playing on www.musicnetradio.com on Dec 31st, next year i might be playing every month on this other site.
I'm not here to say i'm the best, trust me i know i'm not.
This is not saying hahah i'm better etc., i know thats what you guys think this is.
So... lay off my back please people. I do take your advice if i think its reasonable, and taking a break.. thats out of this world.
Now i'm going to be nice, if you want to play live on my site let me know! I can hook you up, it will be nice to have dj's to play live mixes.

I'm affraid i didn't, but i will try to get one on tonight. I might do one now actually, i forgot to record last night, and about 15 minutes or so in the mix, i had Tech problems, but after that it was smooth.
I will let you know ok. |

I have been doing it for over 5 years, so lay off MY back... ;)
Time is not what makes you good at something. Talent, feeling, expierence, etc... are far more important IMO.
You can spend ten years just learning how to mix. But heck, you've been doing it for ten years, so you must be good. :rolleyes: |
