and no i dont like mcs ... apart from at raves, sound pretty good through hardcore music, but thats about it, imo. |

+1 on Pete Tong. Seb Fontaine is alright too, I guess, the few times or so I have heard him, but that's about it.

| My fav moment in MCing was during Tiesto's old Energy 2000 set... when the MC (with the really horrible gravelly voice) was spouting a bunch of during the Airwave breakdown, then the main string came in and completely drowned out his voice, so he shut up. The one time I really liked that tune :D |

A good MC is really useful in some cases. Some dj's don't have the energy required, and a good MC can provide some energy from the dj booth to the crowd. Some MC's really bring added value to a night or set.
A bad MC can things up though.
I hate them personally, but they can be useful, like i said. |

anyways, I think the funniest mc was about a year ago when ferry did a 5 hour set. At one point the MC said, ok kids time to go to sleep, its grown up time.
