i guess they in a way fill a purpose for people that dont know jack , not much one can do about it, but as i see it the only events they appear are the ones aimed for the "masses", i cant recall any disturbing mc live so far. pete tong gets a shout out for being the "best" one keeping the essential mixes in mind.

My friend and I were talking the other day and we came to the conclusion that the TIesto MC guy is probably an old high school friend who needed a job, so tiesto was like "yeah sure! you can get high and say obvious and/or stupid things in my sets!" FEEEL THE MUSSSSSSSSSIC, MAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGIC, ILLUSSSSION, DJ IS PLAYING MUSIIIIIIIIC MUSSSSSSSSSSSSSSIC.... someone shoot him...

Two shockers:
The MC over Eric E's set at Mysteryland this year (I think torontotrance has the samples :nervous: , shockingly bad)
The MC over DUmonde's set at Trance Energy 09/2002, he just keeps on going, ruins a stack of great songs. But he is required to hype the crowd during a stop in the set before Dumonde play Mind Made Up (was first time ever played).

I know their use, but most of the time they me to tears. About a year ago when Blank & Jones were playing here, after about the hour mark of their set, the MC who had been quiet for the entire set kept saying "Adelaide, feel free to make some noise during the breakdowns" for each and every breakdown. Hyping the crowd is one thing, but actually say something good!
Also went to a night with no MC, and it really was lacking something, even just to introduce each dj.

MCs should be shot.

lol anyone know the guy from that sander kleinenberg set a couple years ago...

MAKE ZE NOISE!!!!

that guys is so funny... rediculous

lol the MC on the PvD set sounded like he was getting raped

"Puut yeour 'ands ap in the air"....(buildup) "deeh-jay...Paul va dyyyhe"

have to turn the vol down at those parts... :wtf:

anyways, i think MCs sound somewhat ok with DnB... even still, most of the time it sounds like "boogityboogityboogity BOP DOWN, DROP DOWN, boomshakalaka boomshakalaka WHAT!"

as far as trance goes the only time an MCs mic should even receive power is at the intro of a DJs set, MAYBE during the climax of a track, and towards the end...

i have TIC and the intro is good(+1 Approval point) pissed me off on Symbols when he comes in thinking it'd be a good idea to announce that "This is the Jump obsession!"...and 643 "Tiesto tiesto tiesto" :toothless if i were Tijs i prolly woulda shot him  faces

exactly....

you're enjoyin a liveeset, just lost ...your...eyes closed....then some dumbasss shouting garbage, ruins the moment. In the club it feels like some dickwad just spilled bear all over you, right in the middle of ur fav song.

I hate american MCs, they always manage to up something in the name

Please welcome, DJ Armen von Boo'ren

or Robert Gitelman (but man at the end pronounced like man would be by itself)

and Paul van Dyk is pronounced Dike, not Deek like it's supposed to be

the worse i've heard this year is Randy Katana with the a's sounding like a's in man, not ahh, so not kahhtahhnahh, but ketenahh (just sound it out)

omg i could soo go on, NAME BUTCHERERS - :whip:
