Telemarketers- how to block them..

| In a few weeks, cell phone numbers are being released to telemarketing companies and you will start to receive sales calls. Call this number from your cell phone 888-382-1222. It is the national Do Not Call list. It blocks your number for 5 years. Please pass the information on... This also works for your home phone – you will need to call from your home phone to put on the do not call list. |

Good f*cking deal! Thanks loads! I just called in and registered. Caveat is that they said it might not take full effect for 90 days. I can live with that. I get calls every damn night and wouldn't answer at all, but figure the police might have one of my kids so I have to pick up. If it's a telemarketer I simply hang up if I don't know them, but still a pain in the ass.

Can't you just get CallerID, to see who is calling you? If you see 1-800 numbers, that gives you incentive not to pick up the phone... cos it's usually a telemarketer |
