I've been up two days now...damn it, these medications are killing me. I'm constantly hungry aswell, no matter how much I eat.
But, since I've been up, I decided to watch Insomnia, fookin good movie. :D |

I almost feel your pain. I've had just a few hours of sleep in the past 2 days. If I can make it all of today I'll be able to crash and hopefully return to my normal sleep cycle.
On a positive note, I just gave myself the closest shave I've ever had. My girlfriend's gonna love me today.. haha. |

I've worked night shift on non-regular days (at a hospital) for the past two years. My life is one constant sleep walk. I sleep maybe 4 or five hours every other day. My body has completely given up on any sort of normal sleeping pattern, so I end up napping whenever I have the chance and am tired. It sucks really as I never really feel awake and am in an almost constant state of trance (no pun intended). If you ever really want to mess up your sleeping cycle and feel like you're constantly drugged try working night shift with no pattern of work from week to week for a while. It's a trip for sure. No offense to your insomnia, but that's the only way to truly feel what long-term sleep deprivation is like. I'm going on two years of sleep deprivation.
If you've ever seen "Bringing out the Dead" with Nicolas Cage by Martin Scorcese, my life is totally like that. Death, drugs and sleep deprivation, what a ride! |
