Reasons Why Blade 3 was awesome:
01. Jessica Biel wearing TIGHT clothing AND shooting people.
02. Wesley Snipes
03. Explosions
04. Explosions
05. Vampires
06. Lots of big beat techno music.
*shrugs*
Take it for what it is, and its more enjoyable. Why does every movie have to have some underlying message with it? Why can't movies just have people ing each other up, explosions, and hot chicks? |

Despite if I like it or not I do give the Blade trilogy credit. Not many movies make it to a 3rd installment, hell not many make it to a 2nd or the ones that do suck so bad you wish they never did (Whole Ten Yards). Obviously 1 was the best, (the only time I can remember off the top of my head a the sequal turned out better is the Spiderman movies) and 2 wasn't great but it was still pretty damn cool. I also think if I'm not mistaken this is the first of the recent comic book based movies that has made it to 3.
It hasn't been hyped up that much so it couldn't possibly be as much of a disapointment as Matrix Revolutions. I cried after that movie. |
David Goyer did not direct blade 2, Benicio del toro did that.
I thought it was a fresh movie, no more romantic . 2 was a little more gory, suposedly that is why Benicio del toro was asked to direct. David Goyer had the script writing of 1 2 and 3, but until 3 is were he directs one of the movies.
I´m hoping its good, regarding the blood pact, that whas a pretty ty idea and in the movie it really doesn´t add anything important to it. |

Blade Trinity certainly wasn't up to the first two's standards. Fair enough, it had a fit bird in, but the martial arts scenes were nowhere near as good as the first one's, and the story pretty much sucked. Average special effects, and an average soundtrack (there's only one good tune in the film, and it's on for about thirty seconds) make the film average. :p I'd wait for the DVD if anything.

They don't, but after awhile movies that just have hot chicks, explosions and stuff like that become formulaic and ..well.. ty.
I kinda find the elitism attitdue here on TA about tracks and artists pertains to movies as well. I'm not an elitist on TA, but I can definitely pick ty films out from excellent films. |

Just got back from watchin this and all i can say is WTF
That film has just destroyed any credibility the blade franchise ever had. It was just pure commercialism, so many cliches of the action film genre were used. Also there was at least around 4 parts that seriously looked like an advertisement for the ipod???
*spoilers ahead*
Where did all the darkness and mood go to? I didnt even care about the characters, like at one point they had audience believe that the bearded guy was dead and i didnt even give a .
Its the matrix 3 all over again :whip: |

| Meh, fya. I thought the movie was very entertaining. Then again, maybe you don't appreciate Ryan Reynolds. I think he's one of the most underrated comic actors around. I also liked how Dracula wasn't an bad-guy, he just wanted worthy battle. |
