Meh, fya. I thought the movie was very entertaining. Then again, maybe you don't appreciate Ryan Reynolds. I think he's one of the most underrated comic actors around. I also liked how Dracula wasn't an bad-guy, he just wanted worthy battle.

Ryan Reynolds was funny with his bits, but the thing is Blade isn't a dang comedy. The only funny stuff should be when Blade uses his sarcasm to talk to people like in the scene after the rescue when they get back to the hideout.

All in all it was okay, but as stated it needed more blood and a bit more battle and a little less comic relief.

Everyone's entitled to their opinion. I was actually scared that the movie wasn't going to be funny enough (i.e. a waste of Ryan Reynolds).

What a disgrace. So blatanly thrown together for the enjoyment of 13 year old boys with no regard for its roots.

Some excerpts:

What's this chicken scratch?
(Refering to ancient hieroglyphic writing. Also the very first line of the movie.)
--
Do you know who's President?
An .
--
What, you want to kiss me pretty boy?
--
Go ahead Blade, show me what you're made of.

Blade to baby: Coochie-Koo
(My favorite.)

Advertisements:
I-Pod, sunglasses, various lines of designer clothing. Not to mention the big boss Dracula guy in human form looks like he just stepped out of a magazine ad for Calvin Klein.

Snipes is the usual bad motherfu- ass kicker. Ryan Reynolds manages to save much of the poorly written dialog and pass it off as more than funny. Jessica Biel flashes her boobs (or in her case, lack there of) many a time while punching some guy in the face and once again Hollywood fails to pass off a good looking woman as a realistic crime fighter.

Agreed.

The whole I-Pod stuff really sucked; it was waaaaay to obvious and didn't really contribute anything to the story.
stren
does Wesley Snipes star in any movies besides blade ?

Reasons Why Blade 3 was awesome:

01. Jessica Biel wearing TIGHT clothing AND shooting people.
02. Wesley Snipes
03. Explosions
04. Explosions
05. Vampires
06. Lots of big beat techno music.

*shrugs*

Take it for what it is, and its more enjoyable. Why does every movie have to have some underlying message with it? Why can't movies just have people ing each other up, explosions, and hot chicks?

I reamber Blade:Trinity had music from The Crystal Method's Album "Legion Of Boom".I think thats what its called.

Love the scene where that one chick is training with that bow and arrow thing, geting ready for the big assault at the same time: The Crystal Method - Starting Over, playing of in the background.:eyes: :eyespop: :eyes:

I also reamber hearing, The Crystal Method - Born To Slow

i saw it when it came out in the UK in december.

I wasn't expecting too much, just an entertaining movie. Then as i was watching i was like "i've seen hannibal king somewhere before"

and then i remembered him as Berg from sitcom Two Guys and a Girl. And from that point on, in the movie, all i could picture was Berg. :haha: :haha:

AS someone said, the Blade movies aren't comedy, but the jokes were damn funny nonetheless :D

Vampire Pomeranian steps into view

" me"

Rottweilers appear

" me sideways!"

:haha:
