Moogwai - Labrynth (Part II)

What do ya think about this track?
I think it could be called "banging progressive", one of the best basslines ever... so much energy...
maybe a underrated song or a forgotten classic?

Second:
Is Moogwai - viola (Original mix) better than Armin remix?

Third:
Whats happened to Moogwai? he's producing only behind the Chab alias, that is not dark and not banging... only common prog...

:nervous:

More tracks like this? recommendation? I think Riva songs are alike...

I think Pt.II is better than Pt.I, mainly cos Pt.II takes its time to build a good atmosphere and setting before engaging that long, mindbending riff. In Pt.I that riff just gets too repetitive since it kicks in way too fast before the tune develops properly. I certainly wouldn't call it progressive though, just a good trance track.

As for Francois Chabloz, he did produce the track "Neon" on Platipus, but he seems to be fed up with the way trance sounds nowadays and focuses on progressive with Chab instead.

both parts of labrynth are great in my opinion.

and i think you hit the nail on the head with viola being under rated, everyone arses the armin mix which is very boring. i thi nk ive only ever met one person that prefers the orig and thats fundamental. good fackin lad :)

yeah i like this tune a lot. good stuff...i thought it was very unique too when it came out...

I like both mixes of Viola, tho I agree that the original is vastly underrated and certainly the more creative production of the two.

I agree with you, I like Labyrinth (Part 2) quite a lot and also Viola is leaps and bounds ahead of the Armin remix.

But I actually think 'A Night Out' is (Edit: Just for Sand Leaper) his (not their) best song, which I think was their first release as Moogwai.

These are both great tunes, just different. This is one of my few records which I really do not prefer one mix over the other, it just depends on what sound I want. Pure classics.

are you for real??

Chab is pure Dark prog, he's like the leading producer in the style, what are you on about? Have you only heard the Romanian Edit of My Memory or something?
