how would you rank these brands overall?

Peugeot
Citroen
Renault
Fiat
Alfa Romeo
Lancia
Seat
Skoda
Opel
GHOSH
I've actually driven most of those when I was in europe. I like them.
Compact, light, not a whole lot of power (depending on model) but then again, not a whole lot of weight, either.

Fiat - Fix It Again Tony
Citroen - look under the bonnet and you'll think a chimp put it together
Peugeot - not bad for learning to drive in
Renault - Clio Williams :p but the others are French like croque monsieur...and I wouldn't want to drive that either
Seat - I've got one :o It's pretty rubbish but it's not let me down and I don't pay for fuel, insurance or have to pay for it so can't complain. Rather have a new Golf though
Alfa Romeo - park it in your drive and watch it.......fall apart and watch its value fall like a lead balloon
Skoda - Cheap VWs with a Skoda badge...too much stigma about owning one although my great uncle has one and says it's marvellous
Opel / Vauxhall - it's a Vauxhall. Enough said
