i have to disagree in a BIG way about Kill Bill, i think they are both amazing films, in my books his 2nd best (after pulp fiction) :p

I liked the 2nd better also, although no-one seems to ever agree with me.

I loved the bit where Bill is justifying his actions for killing everybody and he says, "well I'm a murdering bastard", classic.

I completely agree. For me it goes right on up there with Kubrick's version of The Shining, The Others, the first 20 or so mins of When A Stranger Calls, and ... cant remember some of my other favs. Good stuff though...I loved it.

Honestly, like said above. It could've been much much better..

I think people rule out it could've been better etc etc because it was low budgeted, independent, etc etc. This still doesn't mean it couldn't have been better.

The acting was bad yes. Even though this is true, I think alot of it was the dialouge. It's like jeesh guys, a bit more time on the script and it could've been much much better.

Also, the thing with "hiding the face from the camera" thing, I mean.. Eh.

I see why it has a following though. Not too many movie's that want to take it that far these day's.

I was drunk and very tird when i watched it, but i loved what i reameber. I liked the film alot and yea it could be better, but am not going to conplain as its so diffrent compear to most horror films. I love the ider of putting someone in the pertion, to make them do somthing like cutting they own foot off. As for kill bill, it does scream "wow i have alot of money" but it dont make it a bad movie?

sssssspoiler? yes yes

the foot surgery is pretty hard to watch. The theater release simply had him starting to cut the foot, but the version i got has him cutting about 3/4 the way. Definently a scene to remember when your in math class and bored with Cramer's Law.
My favorite scene is when he shoots adam and says "there! i've done it! now show them to me!"
just makes me wonder what i'd do to save the people i love. cut my own foot off? sure. shoot another human being? fine with me. cry in front of zep's camera? no way!

The acting was horrible, and the editing of the film, visually, was one of the worst, but this movie ed owned!

What was wrong with the editing? The acting that I thought kinda sucked was by Cary Elwes, even Leigh Whannel did a better job. As the two main characters better acting or direction could've gone further.

While not being the most believable movie out there having a few plot flaws, it was still avery enjoyable watch and I couldn't take my eyes off the screen. 9/10
