I used to be THE MOST anti drug person alive, I totally disassociate myself from anyone who does it because I thought it was bull too. Until one day I went to my first rave and popped half a pill of a teensy weensy Orange Butterfly, WWWWOOOOOTTT!!! Holy , I've never felt so good in all my life, it was insane.

The atmosphere was awesome, everyone was so friendly. It totally dispelled all my misconceptions about raves. I felt like everyone at the club was my best friend (no joke), it's really hard to describe. I had this overwhelming urge to just walk around the room hugging everyone.Everyone at the rave must've been on the same thing as everyone went around hugging everyone else (it's a small club with less than 100 people there), it was the best party I've ever been to, everyone was looking out for each other.

That was about 200 pills ago, I haven't been able to recapture that intense euphoric state ever since no matter what I popped. So unless you have experience it, you shouldn't knock it and call it bull when you don't know anything about it.

that is a really stupid thing to do.. one of the best ways to kill yourself while on E is overhydration.. a young girl in this country called Leah Betts tried ecstasy, didn't like it, drunk a load of water to try and get rid of it, and died. not a good idea.

BTW: Thor, you always manage to put into words exatly what I'm thinking. ;)

Well put, everyone. I do mean everyone. Both sides have their arguments; health; experience; curiousity; etc. Whatev. :D
Hehe, I came here to post something along the lines of Thor's rebuttal, only to find Thor put it much more eloquently that I would have (call me beligerant..:p ). Anyhow. To each their own, no one needs a sermon (though some of you might need a priest.. :toothless)

I myself love drugs. Not to extent of abuse, but damn!, they're fun!

Can I quote you, Soulstar as:
Long live the Shroomery! hehe

I second that, and thrice it, ehehe.
As for that mush trip.. my lord...my precious lord. :D :D :D :D :D :D

Want mass quantities of shrooms after reading that,

There are risks to much of anything you do in life. Is E safe, no, it has its risks... Is taking perscription medicine safe, no, many side effects... Its all on how you percieve things, we are indoctrinated to believe we are somehow smarter to deny ourselves drugs that were made illegal, yet we are encouraged by doctors, phychiatrists to take perscription meds that sometimes bring with them serious side effects.

I drink alcohol, occasionally smoke weed, occasionally have mushrooms, and yes occasionally have mdma... Am I any worse than a 35 yr old perscription medicine user? Not a chance.. :D

And it is true, how can anyone criticise without really knowing what its like... And this is something I know a lot about, people don't know much about the drugs they are so dead set against, if an intelligent person realized that some illegal drugs are really no big deal, then they wouldn't say they are bad.. simple as that....

BTW I used to be the most ant-drug guy, then I tried mushrooms, after that my eyes opened up :D

Finally, an individual with a very similar ideology to that of mine. Well spoken Thor! BTW, I love the shroomery, its an awesome website for info, as well a great place for fellow shroomers to get together and share their wonderful experiences. I really value the mind expanding properties of mushrooms. Anyways, in response to some of the ignorant misconceptions which some people hold, I believe my post from a previous similar topic is justifiable.

"One thing that I have a real problem with is how some people view various psychoactive substances so negatively. Lets face it people, alcohol, ethanol, ethyl alcohol, (C2H5OH), whatever you like to call it, is a DRUG. Nicotine found in cigarettes is also a DRUG. So, lets not be so hypocritical and label others as druggies just because they use psychoactive agents which are not socially acceptable. Just because alcohol is vastly ingrained in our culture, as well as intertwined with our religion, that does not necessarily make it any better than other substances which happen to be illicit. Lets move on past this cultural ignorance, and let's become a little more conscious of what is happening around us. Alcohol used on regular bases has far more deleterious consequences than many of the illegal "drugs" out there such as cannabis, gamma-hydroxybutyrate (GHB), etc. We were merely conditioned from an early age that those substances are bad, and we should stay away from them. Let's for one moment question the validity of those statements (we are all too familiar with the "Refer Madness" campaigns I hope), and critically analyze the scientific evidence available out there. Government propaganda can instill a very powerful cultural image of deviance, and lets not fall into the trap of becoming messengers of this collection of half-truths and outright lies. Lets expand our horizon, and embrace the truth, instead of blindly following governmental rhetoric on the dangers of using "illegal drugs". I'm not saying that illicit substance abuse does not exist, what I am trying to get across however, is that various "illicit substances" can be used safely. With moderate use, and proper precautions one can lead a very health and fulfilling life. Substance USE does not equate to ABUSE for most individuals. This is perhaps another flawed cultural misconceptions. I know various individuals of very high socio-economic stature, who balance "illicit" psychoactive use perfectly well within the the framework of a very enriching life. All I want from you guys is to be a little more analytical and open minded before you post very ignorant and unintelligent opinions."

im so new to this board this is my first post!!! but im not gonna get into it but i have done alot more than you people. i stopped telling people numbers of all the drugs ive done since people usually just think its an exaggeration. but just know that whatever you have done, im pretty sure ive done more. at for most of what im reading more at one time. and one other note. i have stopped most of it. not smoking but i dont do e or anything anymore but ill shroom on occasion. maybe once every 6 months or so. same with 'cid. i wont touch anything else anymore. lastly. i thought it was odd, forget who said it, but that you measured shrooms in grams. we always do it in eights. one eights is usually enough for one person, but thats for people who dont do many drugs. so once again i wont go into numbers. but just to reassure anyone whos doing drugs, i wouldnt worry too much. im living proof that if you are mind-strong and physically able, there isnt a limit besides you're wallet...

good job to those who are straight edge. i was at one point. till maybe 9th grade. but more power to ya and dont judge me quite yet because of my first post. that life is behind me and im a little bit different now, but in no way do i regret it. everything i chose in life brought me to where i am now.
{b.s.e.}
LOL I agree w/ your standpoint on drug use. Those with an open mind rarely fall prey to Ab-use (though my friend Heather is the living rebuttal to that..:p)
As for you straight-edgedness..eheheh.
Most everyone is sXe until high-skool, dude..that's where the drugs are.;)

Ahh!! Another one assimilated into the collective!! MUwwahaha!!

It's funny, you sound exactly like this raver I met a year ago. It was his first time. He was like a hamster on roids -- couldn't stop talking, mouth just blabbing at 100 miles an hour. He was moving around the place like his hair was on fire!!

With or without drugs, it's just as amazing to watch people and to feel the incredible vibe and energy of the place. The beauty of it all never escapes me, even to this day.

What I mean by never is you don't really need to try to recapture the state but observe and be in the moment as it were. Evermore so, it's not the chase of reliving that moment, but to look at it like it was the first time. That is the beauty of it all.

Lastly, I cannot stress it enough. There is a fine silver lining: Drugs can set you free, or you can become a prisoner of it.

Gotta understand there is a price for everything..

Usually when I was on E, I'm always on my butt, swimming for the water bottle after 5 minutes of blitzing the floor. Serves me right for dancing like some oversexed monkey! :P
