FFS. TOTA's obviously don't understand licensing....
This deal had NOTHING to do with Tiesto. This deal was setup as a licensing deal between Magik and FreeFloat. If you don't know how something like that works, pay attention:
Some brand manager at Magik got a phone call from some marketing manager @ FreeFloat.
The FreeFloat person said "hey, can we license your logo for our product, Tiesto used it at TiC".
The Magik person said "sure, it will cost you $X to license our logo, etc".
The FreeFloat person paid the money to Magik (not to Tiesto) for the use of the logo.
The testimonial were already public domain because they were said during interviews (or permission was provided use them by the publisher).
THIS DEAL MOST LIKELY DIDN'T EVEN CROSS TIESTO'S DESK!
FFS - any piss ass reason to jump on someone successful and the same (jealous?) munchkins do so... |

In order to do that, you'd have to stop posting entirely. Or at least run your posts through a spell checker before submitting them. |

You know what would be worse? Having your name on something that looks like a reddish-brown turd that's been stepped on. ;) |

Well pucker up and kiss his ass (nuttin u can do bout it) :stongue: :haha:
BTW........oh ya, Tiesto is soooo mainstream
I asked a group of 20 yr olds what they thought of his sets...and they replied..........Tiesto Who? |

| I guess a similar example could be said about the U2 iPod. But U2 has been around for over 20 yrs and has always been mainstream. |
