Some of the NZTA's posted really beautiful NZ pics, I wanna go there one day.
San Fran would be a nice place to set down for a little while, I was born kinda near there and had a couple childhood visits but I dont remember it very much. I'd like to meet a bunch of hippes and experience the kind of life that some people have over there. I imagine it is a very happy city(cept when the earth shakes)
Only a few hours west of me are some nice places in the appalactians, they throw awesome psy parties in asheville, there isn't much civilization but there are a lot of great people to be around and things to see. I fantasize about dropping out of my consumer life and living more naturally, hidden away in the mountains somewhere. It is really cold there right now unfortunately, and is scary to drive through.
Victoria, BC is a beautiful city. I spent a day over there a couple years ago. Vancouver is nearby, which also looks like an amazing place, especialy when compared to American cities of similar size. People from all over the world are there, I heard that in some places you can look in the busy streets and not see two people who are from the same country. Supposedly the nightlife is great which is also a plus for a party fiend such as myself. Plus, Legal marijuana!
(i'd also like to see DJ nemesis spin and meet ishkur so I could give him a good hard slap(JK).
Near Victoria is Port Angeles, WA, a small town with lots of nature around it. There is kinda a grungy crowd that blew in from seattle there but it isn't very prevalent. Lots of water and a nice view from those olympic mountains. A short trip away from the perks of larger cities, but all the charm and nature of a small town. I have some family over there and I love going to visit.
Speaking of legal pot, there is a certain flat and watery city on the other side of the ocean that I would very much enjoy a stay at. I heard that the dutch were very nice and welcoming and that people are much more accepting of the way that I like to live over there.
It would be fun to be near the mediteranean as well, but I'm not quite sure where specificly, I've just seen alot of cool pictures. |

sigh, and they wanted me to beleive I was lucky to have been born in America.
Those pictures make here look like a pile of trash.
(dont get me wrong, there are some nice places here, but they are rare exceptions)
Is there any demand for computer engineers in any of these awesome places? I could learn whatever language, get used to the metric system, or make whatever preparations I would need, cuz I have 2.5 years left until I graduate :-D. |
