loved the tracks, hated the flow from one track to the next. that sums it up for me.

The 50 year old Fobs pack it up enough for little ol' me to make any difference by not going.
Perhaps they just need another venue that competes with them for the top talent and starts pulling people that way. Maybe Spirit under the new management???
I also like hard trance. I loved Mauro Picotto (techno) because he was able to just slam you with one track and masterfully bring it down again before he slammed you again. Johan was just pedal to the medal all night. Still had some good tracks. Believe me, I liked a lot of it, just not a rave for me. |

ive always wanted to go to limelight. nice set up. i didnt believe it when ppl said they hated the crowd. it was indeed an odd mix of ppl.
johan chose good songs..but yes..the transitions werent good. boo. :( maybe its the environment? but..he was def 348923472894729742 times more better in miami.
im asian. but being in that club esp upstairs in asia...made me not wanna be asian. if i was just looking around..sum random old man would give me the "look"...eww..hes old enuf to be my dad. nasty.
and yes..there needed to be sum more white boys. hehehe. :crazy:
gonna see ferry in chicago for new year's. hes great. he was awesome in korea, miami and boston. hehehehehehehe..yay!

| johan was pretty good i enjoyed myself tired as hell tho from fri nite an then last nite the crowd control wasn t too bad (i was on the make shift stage most of the night) tho i must say avalon became the exit of today lets face it, the sound was better the only way i was able to keep my sanity was to hang with my TA peeps it was funny i was joking with sal when the "showgirls" came up on the platform an the circle of pervs were hawking them... if ur goin to a club to hear the dj Y THE HELL DO U NEED "SHOWGIRLS" ????? i mean im sittin up there and this one girl basically throwing her cooche around an there were a horde of pervs just tryin there best to get their paws on her i told sal u dun need that here go home for that or hell if u ain t gettin that home go to a tittie bar:whip: but anyway it was fun there tho an lyssa got her hat signed by johan (i threw her into the dj booth :stongue: :haha: :haha: :haha: cause none of the jerkies in the booth would try to get him to sign it for her) oh an btw....i love hard trance too bad he didn t play boomerang:( or his mix of sosei oh well |

| I don't know about everyone else, but every time I have been to Avalon I've had an awesome time. I keep reading people bitch about 40-year old asians...they represent a small minority in the place. IDK what the big deal is. |

Small minority? That's the funniest I've heard in a long time.
The % of Asian people in general is easily 80%. I bet my life on it. Including many of those that are older. It's not simply about being Asian. I've been to clubs in Singapore where I was the only white guy. It was cool as hell. It's the type that comes in... simply a lack of class.
And some of them impose on your night. Either by groping women, banging into you all fawked up, or practically throwing a line of K on my shoulder and snorting it up right off me.
