what?? where did u get your knowledge of 20th century warfare from?? its seriously lacking. wtf are u talking about?? germany and japan had no army for several years after WWII, until their democratic governments were set up.
after WW1, germany was limited to 100,000 man army, but not japan. |

lacking? only about 2 dozens of history books in 4 languages and i also said WWII! Germany is limited now days to a standing small time army called an emergency peace army. Which are made to exist only as well, the name suggests.
And I have no problem with the stereotype i give Americans. I'm proud to be labeled lazy and an because we just state the facts while everyone is jelous. This is not what this thread about. |

"Standing Small time Army"? 250,000 man in total in each of the country you have mentioned does not reflect "small" :). Relative to population, you might argue it as "small" or perhaps comparative to it's WWII numbers, however, personally, i do not certificate that number of troops as "small".

im not talking about you, im talking about this gung-ho attitude. if your talking about the irak war, are u telling me im wrong, that we "DONT" carry the burden?
ive been europe several times, and i never got any trouble until recently when i was in berlin, in line for some coffee, i heard a german guy say arrogant american ******s to his friend. i dont like that . |
