How does that compare to going away for 2 weeks with work and dreaming of playing my records, and the first thing I do as I walk through the door is flick on the decks and mixer, pull out my favorite Sven Väth vinyl I had imported from Germany and my flatmate left it on the amp so the heat melted the record and it warped, along with 7 others.

yeah it sucks coz you look forward to having a mix with new vinyls and when they arrive they're warped, all you can watch is your needle jumping up and down :(. but then again happens i guess, waste of vinyls.

Vinylwarning are cool about it, so just gonna return them and wait another week.

if you cant get a refund (You will get one im sure..) Stick them in the freezer overnight, a bit of an old wives tale but it cured a few of my tracks :) :)

i never heard of that one before, i just put the vinyls between to sheets of thick metal and add alot of weight on top, if that aint work then theyre definatley fcuked.

Use the search because I reckon this has popped up a couple of times in the DJ Booth. Don't quote me on this but I seem to remember these topics recommending hairdryers to heat the vinyl and then flattening with some books/glass etc...........

I've never tried this though, only had one that may have had problems with warping cos it sat in a postman's delivery truck all day at 40 degrees, it was hot to touch when I got it so I immediately chucked a book on top, probably the flattest vinyl I've got now!

or try and force your doodle into the holes of the vinyl and when its in, spin the record furiously. make sure its clockwise or else it wont work.
