Thats one hell of a starter kit!
mine looked like this when I first started out:
2 Technics 1200M3D
Some really cheap Gemini Mixer with a BPM counter on it (what a mistake that was)
& some mini home stereo I had lying around the house
Good luck and be sure to learn the basics first then start taking full advantage of what all that equipment can do.

Agreed! Should've just picked up a pair of Event 8s (very nice monitors at a reasonable price) and picked up a cdj1000 or something to record your sets with.
I don't know...perhaps were all just a bit jealous. |

thanks guys...
yeah i guess i'm kind of spoiled in that i only want the best... had about 4k around august but waited until now to reach my 6k limit... the mackies are overkill for djing but i'll also use them as my stereo speakers... i.e. have my laptop plugged in via FS to play mp3s and stuff.... heck i'll just spin records for the sake of listening everyday. :D
miss bliss... if i have one word of advice, it's spend the money on europe first!!! i travelled around europe summer of 2003 and went to 13 different countries for about 6K with airfare and all included.... and that's going CHEAP considering how much i did.... but it was a once in a lifetime experience.
vtec, i actually have a g/f...she's understanding. :D i promised her i wouldn't buy any more vinyls though. :( lol.
