a goth store named hot topic? and where, at the mall?
what type of goth store is this :wtf:
a real goth store would be named something like "Under The Eternal Underworld Bewitched By Funeral Desolation" located next to a grave yard or something :toothless |

I personally get a kick out of the majority of them. I have nothing really against a whole crowd of kids simply because of how they dress. I've had friends from every walk of life and I sort of know where they're coming from when they dress/do like that. They all have their reasons. I don't judge.. I just laugh sometimes |

hot topic seems more grungy than goth...or is it the same? i dunno. i actually bought a blue tank top from there (like a wife beater for girls) that says, "Strange & Happy" on it...i thought it was cute...but a lof of the clothes in there were kinda dumb...lots of black and pink Hello Kitty stuff for the girls...they do have funny tshirts for guys though... |

people still dress grunge? i thought that went out of style back in the 90's! :p
i would say Hot Topic is trendy-goth. as well as trendy-emo and trendy-raver.
i dunno, when i think goth... like true goth, i think of Robert Smith of The Cure -

oh my goth.
Goth people are hilarious: "I won't conform, you'll never make me conform, I'll die before I conform. Now where's all my black clothing? I love that trench coat and the way you mix red and black dye in your hair!" |

i thought grunge and goth are kinda the same idea...but i guess goth is the new grunge...i actually met this guy at club space a few weeks ago (he was friends w/ a guy we were with) and he was wearing a hoodie and lots of eye liner lol. it looked cool though.
i know everyone has their own style, and i respect that, doesn't mean i have to like it. to be honest, my style is kinda hard to define. my closet is extremely versatile. i have everything from khaki skirts and girl polos to tight, ripped up jeans and high heels...it depends on my mood. but i guess if i had to define my style i'd say i'm pretty trendy, although i wouldn't wear something i thought was dumb just because it's in style.
i like the way models dress...it's like they throw stuff on that doesn't even match, but for some reason, they make it work. i like doing stuff like that. i saw an ad in Jane mag w/ this beautiful model wearing a cut off denim skirt and a silk tank top with a pink cardigan over it and black and pink striped ankle socks with open-toed sandals. i know it sounds dumb, but it looks hot! i requested those socks for christmas, i hope i get them...if not i'm buying them myself. |

But their video game t-shirts are cool! :D I have bought several from there, as well as a few vinyls. |

goth was 80s with Cure, peter murphy, Sisters Of Mercy, Siouxsie & The Banshees, etc. I liked the music but was never into the scene.
grunge was 90s with Kurt Kobain, Soundgarden... came out of Seattle moody, dark music |

I live next to Rotterdam, and one of the best record stores there is just about ( there is a bar between them ) next to a gothic store... so i always walk past by it when i go for records ( basic beat, for all your Trance and House needs ;). Even went in that Gothic store once with a good friend of mine! She is a total 100% clubgo-er, but everytime she wants to be different ( and she stays goodlookin while doing it ). She wanted gothic! She wanted to buy a spiked leather neckband.. or something in that direction. Anyway, it's a real gothic store... called 'Black Widow' [insert oehhhhhhh sound]. Its not in the center of the town, not where all the malls are, its where the more normal buildings start and people have their homes, there are alot less shops there.
Anyway, here is a pic, does it live up to your imagination?

Well... thats what im passing about every 2 weeks at least once :)
Oohh i found inside pics too!

Wow what a counter! |
