I'm not saying that I would have taken it like he did - you bet I would have swept out that leg when the man was kicking and just unloaded on him. But it would seem as though he avoided a very serious altercation by taking his beatings, and just living on. It remained a bout of pride rather than survival, in which case the wise man will know to lose. |
Being from Poland, and knowing more or less what can happen to you there, I gotta say that kid was smart about not fighting back. Those bigger guys would pulverize him, I know it. Many of my friends back there got serious beatings for the stupidest (i.e. cellphone, a cigarette, etc.)
And if he got a quick shot in and ran, then they wouldn't hesitate to take it to his home; and do anything from trashing his place to taking it out on his family. Trash like that unfortunately runs rampant in Poland at the moment, and most people are so scared that they won't do anything about it, if they're witness to an event like this. Notice how nobody in the crowd helps out. It's sickening. But hey, thats what happens to a country that abandons Communism and goes for Democracy. You get like that. It's funny, really...most people my age and older will look back on the Communist days as the "good days" |

Exactly. Perhaps I am giving him far too much credit, stating that he "did the right thing". Most of us have been in a situation less than this where we just absolutely wanted to ing kill somebody. Perhaps he was just a coward (or a sage?) and it was just in his nature to not react in a violent way when threatened with this sort of thing. Odds are though...he wasn't even thinking about the odds. :happy2:
Whatever though - I think it's pretty obvious who the true coward in this situation is anyways. |

Lot of tards in here. Youve obviously never been in a fight if you are saying youd sit there and take it, or *gasp* there are multiple of them. What you do to the first guy is eat his ing nose in front of the other people and tear his ears off. Get blood everywhere and ing lick it up off his face.
