Ive fought gang members before. They did the same thing to people around. Gangs are gangs dude, one country doesnt have a "tougher" group. bunch of pussies. You go after them inidividually hard enough theyll stop. im talking like they look in the mirror and dont recognize themselves hard. and you tell them if they do anything to you, or your house, you are gonna come back for him. Even if he isnt there and his friends kick your ass, you are coming back for him alone and then beat him to a mushy pulp consistency. Heh, they try to jump you if youre wearin a trenchcoat with a carbon tempered war sword you cut em up good. Im one of those "next level" kind of fighters who doesnt really care about honorable fighting. You get out of your car and start , you get brass knuckles upside the head.
Although, my advice, stay out of gang ridden areas and dont start . It isnt worth whatever else is there. I havent been in a fight in a while. People just dont with me anymore. Im easy going enough, but people just kind of know when someone is a more vicious bastard than them and they tend to keep it civil around me.
blah. Fighting is gay, i hate doing it, and people who like it are annoying and making up for something.
but , uh , yeah, gangs and fights arent fun. Avoid them if possible. |

My friend sent me this video once, of soccer or rugby hooligans (can't remember which).
Fans from 2 different teams got together before a match, to beat the out of eachother. They set a date on a forum, where a lot of them post, set a location (looked like an open field surrounded by a forrest); and then they met up. Much like TA's set roll-call threads for parties, these guys set a rollcall thread for the pre-game ass-kicking.
Obrax: I get what you're saying, but you'd get to a point where it's you keeping your pride, or someone close to you gets hurt. , if I was in that sort of situation, just for that, I'd stop caring about me and not do anything. Of course, if they didn't know me and I didn't know them...then that'd be a different story. |

Upon watching the clip of the Polish kid again... I have to say that, in his position, I wouldn't have been able to keep from going ape on the guy kicking at me. Probably would have been beaten to hell by his friends... but I would've made sure to put that 's head into the pavement at least a few times.
I guess I just wasn't paying much attention to it the first time that I watched it. I don't understand what kept that guy from standing up and knocking the living out that skinny bastard. |

Frankly speaking,
unless I was a trained fighter(which I am not) I would have stood my ground and rendered them harmless for the time being and would have called the police as soon as possible.
In reality, If I were him and I was with a girl/my chick I would have simply run from the scene. There has to be a balance between being level-headed and having some self-respect. Running away I would neither have lost self-respect nor land up with any broken limbs.
Running away would have 1) ensured the safety of me and my companion 2) Given me time to think with a cool head and figure out how to take down the group/gang one by one.
Talking from experience, when dealing with gangs, it is always better to get away from the scene as fast as possible if one is alone. However, if you are with a bunch of friends and trouble arises, it is simply 'last men standing' .
Beer bottles, chairs, compasses, cutters,forks...whatever you can get your hands on. |

I'd hae to disagree with you there. Gang culture is very different in different countries. I don't know about Poland or the US, but I do know about Russia, and I had one aquaintance there who ended up cut into managable pieces and stuffed into a sewage pipe, and someone else who was handcuffed and shot in the head right outside his own house. |

Me and my best buddy were attacked by 4 gang members 4 years ago...
2 of them were holding him, while the other 2 were taking care of me
I was doing fine when I was fighting with one, cause the other one jumped in later cause he saw his boy getting his ass whooped...
