sasha.
Sasha's mixes are a bit less housey than Diggers. as for production, yes Digger's Heaven Scent is THE anthem of all trance anthems, but Wavy Gravy, Xpander, Ride, Belfunk, and Bloodlock are just as good, and Sasha is more productive. |

SASHA! His GUs are sublime...and of course, there's Xpander! :eyes: Unfortunately I am yet to hear his stuff from Airdrawndagger. Ahhh, my time will come.
But Digweed is great as well! I love his Sydney Global Underground. |

| Have you heard the new Sasha album? It sounds like trance from 3-5 yrs ago. He still rocks as a producer and dj (xpander!!!), but at times he seems a little decadent, whereas digweed is a more modest, serious dj/producer. I saw him a bunch of times in london last year (bedrock) and he rocked th ehouse every time. (voted #1 dj anyone?) |

I got the Communication cds and the Digweed GU LA cd's....and i dont really like either (ive got livesets from both as well)
and to tell the truth, i like progressive tunes that Dave Seaman spins, and they , to me sound different than what John and Sasha spin....dunno:conf: ....maybe u disagree with me, :toothless
but hey, just my 2cents

we all got our own tastes :) I love Seamans style, I love Sasha's style, Digweeds, Burridge's, Tomiie's...I could go on and on. This is the beauty of progressive [house/trance], the DJ's define styles for themselves, unlike them trancey anthem DJ's (Gielen, Corsten, Tiesto, etc etc etc) who all spin the same stuff. Seriously, can't they find some tunes that others aren't playing over and over that very same night but in a different club? And it's funny how Armin brings and introduces the tunes when they're hot off the vinyl cutter, plays them for a bit, then goes on, while the other 3 follow him  Of course, don't start flaming me and calling me a "trancehater", cuz i'm not. John 00 Flemming, Orkidea, Matt Hardwick, AvB & PvD are great talented DJ's and I really respect them and will see them every time they're in town, but honestly...some other DJ's need to define their style a little more.
Oh, I voted for Sasha on this one BTW...even though it was really hard to choose, and I hate picking a favourite prog DJ, cuz I love all of them equally for their own styles. |
