This thread was alive before, but some discussion took place and the thread has been deleted. The official results are now posted at:

as well as on my hubmusic website. Not really any big suprises in the first round, but some nice races took place. It will be interesting to see what happens this round, unless, like me, you dont like most of these songs. Likely, our songs will be eliminated this round, and well swear well never vote again (until next year).
As far as tabulation site updates go, Ill be doing them at least once every 24 hours, because my school term starts soon. Thats going to severely limit my time, as those of you who know about the project im doing are familiar with. over the next few days though, Ill be trying to do several updsates per day, as thats when the bulk of the voting took place last round.

There is currently a tie for sixth place, the last spot avaliable for moving on to the next round. Theres plenty of time left to vote so no doubt things will change.

Also, Id like to clear something up. There's been a few misconceptions about me running this voting. I AM NOT running TOTY voting; that distinction belongs to coup. I am only keeping track of the voting numbers as a third party while helping any way I can. Secondly, the groups may seem off balance to several people. The groups were organized according to the total amount of votes they received in the first round. I did organize the current groups, but I am not trying to have certain songs eliminated or pit certain tunes against each other. The current organization is how things worked out based on the first round of voting. |
