Southeast Asia Quake/Tsunami Donation Info
View this Thread in Original format

The eathquake/tsunami aftermath in South-central Asia and parts of Africa have left over 75,000 dead and countless others missing. It is hard for many of us to grasp the scope of this catastrophe - whether it be the grief from losing a loved one to the resources required by aid agencies to help deal with the aftermath.

Below are some organizations where you can donate - even if you can only afford a little, it all adds up in the end.

Red Cross - USA / CAN / UK / FRA / GER / NL / NOR / SWE / AUS / Other Country

Oxfam - UK

Unicef (select your country from bottom left)

Worldvision

Anonymous donations (via Amazon.com to Red Cross)

you don't need to be rich to donate, just human.

by teatime yesterday there had been £5 million raised from people here. It's a shame that all the people involved in wars of religion can't see how just being human is enough to pull everyone together regardless of race/faith.

If you go to that Amazon donation page and refresh a few times you can watch the donation total go up..earlier today it was nuts, like $1000/second.
